Broadway for the Day

Kate and I finally saw the musical Curtains starring David Hyde Pierce.

I honestly didn't know what to expect from the show. Since Kate is such a huge Rupert Holmes fan (Rupert wrote the book the show is based on and also contributed as a lyricist), I figured I would see the show. The show turned out to be great. The acting was excellent and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I would recommend that everybody see Curtains, but the show closes on Broadway on June 29. The Web site indicates that there will be a touring company, so you may still get a chance to see this great show.

Our New Pet

We have a new family mascot. His name is Domo, which is actually short for Domo-kun. We fell in love with him over the weekend when we were at a mall in Reading, PA.

After doing some research online to ensure we were paying a reasonable price, Kate ended up buying Domo in Allentown.

Domo and Lulu have not yet met. I'm curious to see how the two interact. I'm hoping that Lulu doesn't consider Domo to be her "pet" like she does with all of her other toys including her chipmunk, duck, elephant, gorilla, cupcake, and doggie, among others.
